Tim Marshall Joins Erikson
Audio as Product Manager
Erikson Audio has
announced that Tim
Marshall has joined
the company in
the role of product
manager.
Marshall is a
veteran of the Cana-
dian music industry
as a musician,
recording engi-
neer, and former
TIM MARSHALL
marketing manager
for Yorkville Sound. He started his career
in the industry in the early 1990s as a sales
associate at Long & McQuade.
“Tim’s background and vast experience
make him a great addition to the Erik-

Welcomes Record-
Breaking Attendance
On Tuesday, February 7 th , William F. White
played host to record-breaking February
Freeze attendance as over 1,000 produc-
tion professionals descended upon the
William F. White Centre in Toronto to view the latest screen-based technologies and advancements.
This year’s showcase featured an expanded footprint along with extended hours and new
features. These included the Indie Village, with educational panels featuring representatives from
organizations such as CBC Creators Network, Telefilm Canada, and BravoFact.
February Freeze also shone a spotlight on two major new initiatives: the recently-launched
Whites Camera department and newly-relocated Whites Location Equipment Supply (Whites LES).
Whites Camera also presented its first-ever anamorphic panel featuring some of Canada’s most
renowned DPs.

KV2 Celebrates 15 th
Anniversary in 2017
KV2 Audio is celebrating its 15 th anniversary
this year. In 2002, KV2 began its journey in a
small cottage tucked away in the forests of
Southern Bohemia near the Czech town of
Milevsko. In January of 2003, the ES System
was released at The
NAMM Show and the
company has been
growing ever since.

“We have never compromised our
design principles to follow market trends,”
says KV2 Founder and Chief Engineer,
George Krampera Sr.
Krampera was seen as a rebel for many
years as he bucked the industry trends in
digital technology and line array systems,
but he says he’s been vindicated with KV2
being specified into more and more high-
end installations. “For KV2, it is only about
