Marcia Cooper-Burrows
I believe that recognizing young individuals like this is very encouraging. I've been blessed throughout my life by having
a great family to support me in my endeavors and have been surrounded by great friends and mentors who have also had
positive influences in my life. I was a college graduate at age the age of 20, completing degrees in both Economics and
Cultural Anthropology within 3 years of study. At the age of 22, I purchased my own rental property and became a
landlord. Throughout the past few years I've continued to cater to my growth in all aspects of my life. I have work
experience in banking, regulation and data entry, along with a professional designation as a Certified Anti-Money
Laundering Specialist, I have experience in research and report writing for senior management and board members,
production of standard operating procedures, monitoring and maintenance of client portfolios. I have been trained to
assess trading execution policies and practices of licensed securities firms within the Bahamas. In November 2015, I
married the love of my life and embarked on the journey of marriage. In August 2016, I look forward to another blessing,
as I will also embark on the journey of motherhood.
