Dr Shantell Missick
Dr. Shantell Missick is a licensed chiropractor by profession and is certified in Kinesiotaping and Lymphedema
Management. She graduated from St. Augustine's College (Class of 2000) and furthered her education at Wingate
University in Charlotte, NC (Class of 2005). In 2009, Dr. Missick graduated from the top chiropractic school in the US,
Life University (Atlanta, GA) and spent 2 years practicing in Charlotte, NC. Her practice, Dynamic Healing Wellness
Center, accommodates a wide range of patients from pediatrics to geriatrics. Currently, she serves as the President of
the Bahamas Association of Chiropractic and is dedicated to educating the Bahamian population at large about the
importance of spinal health.
Eldri Ferguson-Mackey
Eldri Ferguson-Mackey was named BTC Vice President Marketing, Bran & Communications in September 2014. In this role, she
is responsible for leading all aspects of marketing, brand management and communication strategies for the company. Eldri
joined BTC in 2006 as the Senior Associate Product Development and held several leadership positions within the company
including Product Development Manager and Senior Product Manager. Her responsibilities covered research and product lifecycle, and profitability business analysis programmes. During her professional career at BTC, she has led the introduction and
launch of multiple products and successful marketing campaigns in BTC namely, On-line Bill Payment, TDMA - GSM mobile
migration, Prepaid Top-up, 3G, 4G and 4G LTE mobile services and most recently, Prepaid Electricity which is currently in beta
testing mode in the Eleuthera. Eldri’s career started as an intern/consultant to the Pan American Health Organisation in Nassau
and she has spent several years working in the United States in Technology Transfer and Marketing, namely at John Snow Inc.
and asa private contractor for National Aeronautics Space Administration, (NASA).
Denalee E. Penn L.F.D.& E
Denalee attended the Centreville Primary School and later graduated from the D. W. Davis High School in 1995. Denalee’s motto
“Where there is a will, there is a way” enabled her to become a seasoned businesswoman and entrepreneur. Now a licensed
Funeral Director and Embalmer, she obtained her Mortuary Degree from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, Dallas, Texas. Ms.
Penn embarked upon this venture at a very early age in life when the opportunity arose during a work release program
incorporated with her high school, where she worked at a local Funeral Home to gain some experience in the field before going
off to college. Upon graduating from The Dallas Institute Mortuary, Dallas Texas, Denalee returned home and gained
employment with various funeral home while serving her apprenticeship. In the year of 2003, Mrs. Penn-Mackey gave birth to
a business of her own, namely Evergreen Mortuary, as she had envisioned operating her very own Business. Mrs. Denalee PennMackey has certainly weathered many heavy storms, torrential rainand excessive growing pains. She rose to each challenge and
emerged more than a conqueror. Today she stands as the youngest Female owner of a Funeral Home in a male dominated
profession and in the Bahamas. Her charming personality has built a reputation for being able to bring the dead back to life, by
continually spinning her web of expertise, in the area of embalming, restorative arts, dressing & the application of cosmetics
to the dead. She certainly creates memories that will last, for her faithful clientele.
Denalee is the wife of Terrance Mackey and the mother of D’Asia and ; Te’Ajae Mackey. Mrs-Penn-Mackey has done
exceptionally well, building better and aiming high. She has also been nominated for the Women of distinction Award 2016, to
be honored at Government house in October.
