Lashan Gray Lashan Gray, formerly Bain, was born on October 26, 1979. She is a wife andmother of three children. Her education was received at Our Lady’s Primary School followed by secondary at Saint Augustine’s College. She then pursued studies in Psychology at the College of the Bahamas. Throughout her schooling years, she was an honor roll student while being active in sporting and numerous other activities where she has received recognition for exceptional achievement. She commenced employment at the Atlantis Hotel in November, 1998, where she gained immense training and exposure in the tourism industry, hospitality and customer service until 2011. Her career as an Air Traffic Controller started in June, 1999. Seeking to make tangible contributions, she sought and was elected to the post of President of the Air Traffic Controllers’ Union, where she advocated for the fundamental rights of workers in the sector. After concluding the goals she had set out to achieve, she stepped down from office in May, 2016. Zena Hutcheson A Technology Educator for over 8 years, Zena Hutcheson is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University (MSc. Management Information Systems) and the College of the Bahamas (Bed. Secondary Education and Computer Information Systems). Currently the Primary Information Technology Teacher at Queen’s College, Zena has implemented technology programs, including: Curriculum Development, Teacher Training, Mobile Technology Programs and STEM Programs, at various schools. A part-time lecturer at the College of the Bahamas and Southern College, she is the founder of Teacher Tech Labs; an online website providing technology training for educators. An International Educational Technology Conference Presenter, she also leads workshops locally in educational technology. Gennyne Hepburn Gennyne Hepburn is a Certified public Accountant (CPA) with an innate and long-term passion for all things art. Balancing her desire to be creative with her technical mindset, in 2005, she achieved a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minor in Studio Art while at Hartwick College in New York. Since childhood, art has always been her passion and remains at the forefront of her interests. It was pursued at every opportunity peaking today with her transforming her passion into a focused pursuit of the arts after a decade practicing in the public accounting and finance industries and thoughtful planning. In 2009, Gennyne hosted her first private exhibit of her own works which was met with positive response from attendees. It was a successful event, germinating the idea of art as a viable career path. Moments such as these over the years have allowed art enthusiasts the chance to view and acquire her pieces for their personal collections. During 2015, Gennyne began art tutoring sessions on weekends where she taught painting techniques to young participants. Today, she continues to paint by request and sell limited prints of select original works. She embraces every opportunity to share the exhilarating experience of art with adults and children alike- particularly through the medium of paint.
