Nova Scotia-based Tour Tech East was brought in to boost the light level on the field so that the TV broadcaster , TSN , could add a CGI audience and advertisements around the field for viewers at home . “ What we did is took a bunch of traditional conventional theatrical- and television-type scoops and then I modified them and put in metal halide fixture bulbs and was able to boost the light level . We got the overall field level from about 500 lumens up to over 1,200 lumens ,” says Tour Teach East ’ s Peter Hendrickson .
