Canadian indie rock stars Arcade Fire are currently on their Infinite Content North American tour. For this trek, Chris Bushell is operating the lights, working under the creative direction of Tarik Mikou from Quebec-based production company Moment Factory. The band wanted to play in-the-round with a sporting In Quebec’s historic Ste-Famille Church, which was founded over 300 years ago by the first bishop of Nouvelle France, the architectural flourishes and stunning frescoes now glow with a new radiance thanks to an all-LED lighting design by Philippe Péquignot that features a collection of Chauvet Professional fixtures supplied by Montreal’s XYZ Technologie Culturelle. “Our mis- sion was to showcase the church and its frescoes without detracting from the original aesthetics of the building or its artwork,” says Charles Cadieux of XYZ.
