ArKaos MediaMaster 6 Control Software with NovaStar HDR Integration
ArKaos and NovaStar Tech have teamed up on a strategic collaboration with the new release of ArKaos ’ flagship MediaMaster 6 video control software platform that now integrates with NovaStar ’ s HDR ( High Dynamic Range ) ecosystem . MediaMaster 6 connects directly to the NovaStar MCTRL 4K Controller , whereas previously an additional piece of hardware was needed . Connecting directly to the media server ensures that the highest levels of quality and dynamic range can be attained . While HDR content is still rare , MediaMaster will play standard videos and make them compatible with HDR hardware on the fly . The NovaStar HDR solution increases the dynamic range of the display image quality by nearly five times ( from standard SDR systems ), and the grayscale by four times , and up to 10 bits . The NovaStar MCTRL 4K Controller + A8s / A10s Plus receiving cards bring accurate analysis and the ideal display of HDR standard film sources .

ETC has introduced the Source 4WRD Color . It offers a colour-changing retrofit for existing full-size Source Four ellipsoidal / profile fixtures offering additive RGBA colour-mixing , saturated washes , quick colour changes , and more .
As a non-destructive retrofit , the Source 4WRD Color represents the next generation of ETC ’ s Source 4WRD LED line . Source Four ellipsoidal / profile fixtures can be transformed into RGBA LED luminaires with the Source 4WRD Color LED engine while retaining all of the features of the Source Four , including the lenses , accessories , and its reliability .
Source 4WRD Color technology is also available in two complete wash light fixtures . The Source 4WRD Color PAR and PARNel deliver soft-edges and saturated colour , no retrofit required . These luminaires incorporate the Source 4WRD Color LED engine into a custom housing , offering economical colour washes , including zoom on the PARNel version .

Elation Professional is now shipping the Artiste Mondrian LED profile effects luminaire .
Filling out the top of Elation ’ s Artiste LED moving head series , the Mondrian partners alongside and uses the same technology as the Artiste Monet and Artiste Rembrandt , including Elation ’ s seven-flag SpectraColor colour mixing system , and endless and continuous rotational framing system . The Artiste Mondrian is the brightest fullfeatured LED profile effects fixture Elation has produced to date . Optimized for extreme output and coverage , the Mondrian harnesses its long-throw power from an efficient 950 W , 6,500 K White Hotspot LED engine . The custom peak-field LED engine , a first of its kind , features a two-to-one centre-to-edge LED ratio for more powerful , high centre intensity beam and wash throws while allowing for more unique air effects . With a customdesigned 226 mm Plano Convex lens , the thick beam look is combined with a tight 3.3-degree narrow beam that zooms out to 45 degrees . The Mondrian has the power to cut through at long distances in arena touring environments or any large-scale show setting . With so much power , it also makes for a suitable long-throw followspot .
