J . R . Clancy Vantis Pendant Controller
J . R . Clancy has released the Vantis Pendant Controller , its newest rigging motion controller for theatres and performing arts centres .
The Vantis Pendant Controller comes with a 30-ft . cord , which enables the operator to move around the stage and see the objects that are being moved overhead . Multiple connection points are available for remotely located areas . The Vantis offers simple control of up to eight machines . Each machine can be programmed with up to six targets , including upper , lower , and four intermediate targets . Selection of multiple hoists or machine types is designed to be easy , as is the ability to move them to a stored target simultaneously . With variable speed control of a single machine , users can even create theatrical effects during production . The 3.5-in . colour touchscreen provides real-time feedback on hoist status . The intuitive interface makes programming targets , configuring load sensing , and adjusting speed simpler . Lastly , a hold-to-run “ Go ” button ensures safe operation .
