Chroma-Q Inspire XT Chroma-Q has added to the Inspire range with the Inspire XT, which is suitable for entertainment, house of worship, and architectural projects. It incorporates all the features of the Inspire range of luminaires, including a fully homogenized beam, theatrical grade dimming, and convection cooling, and boasts an output of more than 9,500 hot lumens. The Inspire XT uses Chroma-Q’s advanced homogenized optics, allowing for one output beam that is clean, pure, and uniform. Factory calibration ensures each Inspire’s output is colour matched, and its technology eliminates camera flicker on HD cameras. The XT is twice as bright as the Inspire and uses DMX, allowing the fixture to dim smoothly through the entire range, especially at low levels. Harman AMX N1134A SDI Encoder Harman Professional Solutions has introduced the AMX N1134A SDI encoder, a new video-over-IP encoding solution that eliminates the need for an SDI-to-HDMI converter and makes it easier to integrate an SDI source into any AMX N1000 networked AV platform. The N1134A streamlines AV set-up and allows the N1000 series Minimal Proprietary Compression codec to transport visually lossless SDI video with sub-frame latency to any N1000 decoder. The N1134A encoder integrates well with AMX control systems and also features AES-67 for easy integration with a variety of audio devices. As with the rest of the N1000 family, PoE power from an Ethernet connection to the local network switch speeds up installation and eliminates the need for a local power source. While N1000 is ideal for in-room video distribution and switching applications, it can also effectively scale to as large as a 32 x 32 matrix. Designed for fixed installations or event staging, the DHD1075-GS and DWU1075-GS are meant for extended, heavy use over a period of many years.
