CAST wysiwyg R39
CAST Software has introduced version 39 of its wysiwyg lighting design software , which features improved security to protect user investment as well as a new feature set for every wysiwyg mode – CAD , Data , Plots , Reports , and Previsualization – and more .
Users can now export 360-degree spherical images of their design and , with the help of VR goggles , such as Google Cardboard or Gear VR , can step inside their virtual design and experience it . wysiwyg also made rendering more realistic by considering the colour and alpha percentage in the textures and altering the beam ’ s colour and intensity as it passes through the surface . Users can select from different insertion points when adding a library item into a drawing . This helps place an object correctly and avoid having to re-position it afterwards . CAST also made improvements to importing DWG / DXF files , which should resolve any issues experienced when importing very large DWG / DXF files .

Chauvet Professional has released the COLORado 1 Solo , which builds on the COLORado line of fixtures for indoor and outdoor touring , rental , and production applications .
This RGBW LED wash is designed to project an even , fully homogenized beam through fast and smooth zooming optics . It utilizes IP-rated power and data connectors as well as full convection cooling for a silent and reliable operation . It features 8- to 55-degree smooth and fast zoom and colour temperature presets from 3,200 K to 10,000 K . Other features include selectable , smooth dimming curves for programming versatility and an OLED display with password protection .

Elation Proteus Hybrid IP65 Moving Head
Elation Professional has released the Proteus Hybrid , the second luminaire in the Proteus series of IP-rated , discharge-lamp moving head lights . The Proteus Hybrid is a three-in-one professional moving head with spot , beam , and wash modes engineered specifically for varying weather conditions .
Designed to be compact , robust , and budget-friendly , Elation ’ s first ever IP-rated discharge lamp moving heads are designed to eliminate the need for shrouds and weatherproof coverings while doing away with the compromise that often comes with using IP-rated LED units . Featuring a rugged , multi-environmental IP65 design , the Proteus Hybrid also houses an internal thermal cooling system that keeps the fixture cool even under extreme conditions .
Using the new Philips 21R 470W lamp and housing an advanced optical system with auto-focus , the fixture produces a bright beam that can zoom from 3 to 40 degrees in spot mode , 2 to 30 degrees in beam mode , and 8 to 55 degrees in wash mode . The Proteus Hybrid ’ s beam can be manipulated via eight-facet and six-way linear rotating prisms .
