Welcome to the third edition of our magazine entitled “Unsung Heroes”. I believe you are an
amazing group of individuals. Thank you for your extraordinary contributions to the
Bahamas. I am truly inspired by your strength and depth of character.
It was philanthropists like you who helped to feed, clothe and mentor me when I lost my
parents at a very early age. My sincere gratitude to every person that looks beyond their
needs to help others. Additionally, with faith in God, hard work and determination I was able
to accomplish many goals academically, socially and spiritually in spite of my circumstances. I
am a testament that it is not how you begin that will determine your destiny. This is why one
of my goals is to pay it forward by recognizing those that sacrifice their time talent and
finances to support those less fortunate so that others can use your example to reach back
and do likewise.
Your efforts are not going unnoticed the lives you touch will be forever changed. I salute you
heroes of today as you pave the way and impact the lives of tomorrows leaders. I am certain
of one principle and that is when you bless others God sees and will reward you in his own
perfect timing!
