Ms. Sharon Stuart is a 20 year financial services professional, working
primarily in the area of private banking.
She is presently employed as the Team Head of the Intermediaries
department at Julius Baer Bank & Trust (Bahamas) Ltd. Prior to
joining JB in 2008, Sharon was employed as a Senior Client Officer in
the Portfolio Management department at Private Investment Bank
Limited. For two and a half years she served at the Ministry of Finance
& Planning in the Economics division and has also worked in the
hotel industry as a concierge at the Royal Bahamian Hotel.
She holds an Associates degree in English & French from The
College of The Bahamas, a Bachelors degree in Economic Theory
and International Relations from the American University in Washington DC, an MBA from the
University of Miami and has passed various courses in securities markets.
In 2011 she was afforded the opportunity to complete a two month stay abroad at Julius Baer Geneva
and Zurich, Switzerland. This time was used to market JB Nassau and The Bahamas through group
presentations and one-on-one meetings with relationship managers and to complete training sessions
with various teams of the bank. She also served as a BFSB Bahamas Advantage Brand Ambassador
from 2012 to 2013 and participated in the 2012 Bahamas Landfall events in Europe.
Since joining the Intermediaries business in 2014, Sharon has helped to guide her team through a
major strategic realignment of the business. These efforts have all laid the foundation for growth and a
renewed focus on the team’s target markets.
She is actively involved in her church and enjoys photography as one of her hobbies. One of her
favourites passages of scripture can be found in Psalm 121:2 which reads: ‘My help cometh from the
Lord, which made heaven and earth.”
