application and saturate the

PROCESS
• Up to 30 minutes.
• Heat is not recommended
nor will it impact vibrancy.
RINSE
• Rinse thoroughly, shampoo
with Color Protect ® Post Color
Shampoo and condition with
a lightweight conditioner
such as Color Protect ®
Conditioner, The Detangler ®
or The Conditioner™.
STYLE
• Style as desired. When using
thermal tools, choose the
lowest temperature setting
for optimal color retention.

IS PRESENT:
• Pre-shampoo using
Paul Mitchell ® Shampoo Two ® ,
then blow-dry.
PRE-LIGHTEN:
• Pre-lighten hair to the
recommended level. Refer to
the pre-lightening chart.
• After pre-lightening, shampoo
and dry hair thoroughly.
This will provide the best
canvas for POP XG™.
APPLICATION TIPS:
• Wear gloves during
application and during rinsing.
• Apply POP XG™ directly on
the hair to avoid saturating
the skin.
• Pre-treating hair with robust
moisturizing conditioners
and treatments may hinder
longevity.
TO DILUTE A COLOR’S INTENSITY
• For best results and longevity,
be sure to consider
pre-lightening to correct levels
prior to POP XG™ application,
overall porosity, condition
and underlying pigment of hair.
• Use the pre-lightening chart
as a guide for achieving best
results.
