The Comenius aspect of the trip is what
allowed us to go; the idea of connecting
with other schools in the EU to allow us
to make life-long friends and develop
our understanding of other cultures and
ways of life. The other countries included are Spain, Bulgaria, Poland, Hungry
and Romania. Some of us stayed with
Croatian families for the last view days
of the trip, which gave us a further insight into the food, culture and just dayto-day life.
I can personally say that I have gained a
lot from this experience, as Comenius
has let me make many friends and
I’m sure that I’ll remain in touch with
my Croatian exchange, as well as
learning the basic words and phrases
in Croatian.
If you get the opportunity to choose
your
next
holiday destination, I suggest that you
choose Croatia. It’ll be an
experience
that
you’ll
never forget.
