Ellie Stocks F oreign films are something scarce in Britain nowadays - despite the fact that Englishspeaking films dominate the rest of Europe's cinemas. I personally think that this is a great shame as films are a simple and useful way to understand a culture, especially if you are learning languages. While staying with a French family in the south of France over the summer, I was shown many incredible films that not only helped my French, but gave me another perspective on the French culture.
