Probashi-Children Section EXAMS When exams are near, They cause great fear, Because things are not clear, And some subjects are not dear. Chapters and chapters, Have not been read, Hundreds of doubts, Have not been cleared. Some revise and re revise, Some see for the first time, Some are cool and calm, Some are tense and down. R. Siri Sindura, Class V, Delhi Public School, Faridabad Some forget pens, Some forget points, Some make mistakes, And some run out of time. For some luck comes by, For some it doesnot, But for the cool and calm guy, Its always gonna be high. Artist: Ron Leishman Poem by: Deep Chatterjee Class V, MVN School, Aravali Hills, Faridabad Sketch by: Ashi Gupta Class V, MVN School, Aravali Hills, Faridabad Nature’s Reason The roaring of ocean has its own reason, It eats up for us each and every poison, The blowing of the wind is so soothing The rain of the cloud is so refreshing. The wide blue sky above and high, Gives us a space to dream and fly, The dew drops are so cool to douse the fire, The earth teaches us how to endure the torture. How sweet it is to quench the thirst with fresh water, Trees tell us how to give food, shadow and shelter, How tasty the fire makes our food stuff! Does life thrive if the nature is not good enough? 55
