Report shows strength and stability

The Glass and Glazing Federation ( GGF ) has released its annual report for the year ending 31st December 2016 .
The GGF Annual Report 2017 highlights the federation ’ s outstanding financial performance in 2016 which was significantly boosted by the sale of the GGF ’ s offices in London Bridge and the subsequent relocation to Rushworth St , Southwark , in October 2016 .
The GGF ’ s greatly improved support for consumer facing members is also featured within the report . In February 2016 , the GGF gained approval from the Chartered Trading Standards Institute for its Consumer Code of Practice . The report also underlines an outstanding year for the GGF technical and marketing departments . Throughout 2016 the GGF launched or revised over one third ( 45 ) of all its technical publications . On the marketing and PR front , GGF brand awareness levels reached new heights of over 33 million readers across print and online media . www . MyGlazing . com

Head of marketing , Chris Coxon , believes Eurocell Select will prove attractive for both the trade and the consumer : “ Traditionally finding suppliers for home improvements has always been a headache for homeowners . He continues : “ The conservatory market has changed . Once homeowners were prepared to invest five figure sums in a garden room for occasional use . Now they want to maximise their plots with a room they can use 24 / 7 , 365 days a year . The result ? A burgeoning conservatory roof replacement market . With around four million conservatories already covering Britain , this means plenty of opportunity for Eurocell Select members .”

PRO INSTALLER NOW IN MORE TRADE COUNTERS

Pro Installer magazine is pleased to announce that it will now be available in all 185 Eurocell branches , following agreement from Eurocell this year to add an additional 60 branches to the current distribution arrangement .
Over 30,000 copies of the Pro Installer are already distributed to 650 trade UK trade counters every month . Now , we ’ ll have an even bigger audience , thanks to Eurocell .
Eurocell branches span an area from Penzance to Inverness , and over 4,000 products are available to order over the counter .
What ’ s more , Eurocell - which manufactures , distributes and recycles PVCu windows , doors , conservatory and roofline systems – has plans to launch another five branches by the end of the year .
Explaining the rationale behind the branch network , Eurocell Head of Marketing Chris Coxon said : “ We choose locations carefully , looking for spots that we know will be accessible for local tradespeople who might otherwise have to make a significant journey to pick up supplies .
“ One of the things we ’ ve noticed over the past few years is that our customers are buying more and more tools and materials from us . By adding even more staples to the range , we hope they can make one stop with us and then get straight back to work .”
