While the majority of delegates travelled via regional airports, a number of committed motorcyclists made the trip on their beloved bikes. Dennis Sumner from Force 8, Sue and Phil Chick from Delta Plastics, Austin Greene from Assure, and Assure Inspector Graham Leonard each journeyed on two wheels. Network VEKA MD John Ogilvie, who was on the trip, explains: “The entire group was welcomed by Global VEKA Group Executive Board Member Mr Bonifatius Eichwald for a presentation about the history of the VEKA worldwide group. “Network VEKA’s Brand Ambassador Steve Davis took the opportunity to play Dr Werner Schuler, also a member of the Executive Board in a ‘best of five’ game of pool (which Dr Schuler won 3-2!) before he entertained us all with one or two of his best trick shots. “We were keen to thank our hosts for their warm welcome and happily presented a signed Stev e Davis / Network VEKA picture, to show our appreciation, along with a trophy for their win in the pool competition. “We rounded the trip off with dinner at the traditional Schu- A Double-Double For Synseal Echoing last year’s achievement, Synseal has been named as a double finalist once again at the upcoming G15 Awards. Roy Frost, UK Managing Director, Deceuninck received the Membership Certificate from Nigel Rees, GGF Group Chief Executive at Members Day on 1st September 2015 at Glaziers Hall, London. Roy said: “We are pleased to join the GGF. Not just for the many Member benefits but also to contribute our sector expertise at the Federation’s specialist group meetings.” Deceuninck is one of the top three players in Europe in its sector.
