For all the good reasons to get along to the FIT Show 2017 at the NEC on 23rd-25th May , the opportunity to learn more about the industry - and maximise the potential of your business - has to be among the most important .
Knowledge is power , and at this year ’ s FIT Show there are going to be wide-ranging seminar sessions and discussions , hosted by a broad spectrum of industry experts .
This is the show ’ s most comprehensive seminar programme yet , with distinguished speakers covering a full spectrum of key topics for the window , door and conservatory industry . A total of 19 seminar sessions has been scheduled for the exhibition , all planned to provide show-goers with up to date advice on market conditions , regulations and finance , to the latest sales , business and installation guidance .
There will also be a separate and dedicated programme from systems house AluK , which will be hosting seminars about the aluminium industry .
Visitors to the Expert Zone on AluK ’ s stand ( Q10 ) will gain invaluable insight into the aluminium market from the likes of CAB chairman , Justin Ratcliffe , as well as get up to speed with the latest products , regulations and trends .
In addition , hardware specialist MACO will be hosting a ‘ Tweet and Meet ’ (# TNMP4 ), on stand E20 between 5-8pm on Tuesday 23rd May , that will invite guests , in an informal environment , to address topics such as poor customer service and price increases , to more technical subjects such as PAS24 and DocQ .

The Apeer team is adding the final touches to plans for this year ’ s FIT show as it prepares to return for the third time in May .
Arriving on stand K30 will be the latest from Lumi , an innovative and award-winning collection of windows and doors , as well as a selection of the most popular products from the Apeer doors range .
“ In recent years it has been all about the products on the stand , especially as we were launching and developing Lumi . Of course , we are thrilled to be showcasing some wonderful new products at the next FIT Show , but for 2017 we have made a real push to upgrade our online presence and customer support offering too ,” explained Linda Tomb , marketing manager .
“ Our showroom in Ballymena has recently undergone a makeover which now offers a far better place to showcase the latest Lumi products , and we are really excited to share this with FIT Show visitors alongside our other developments ,” Linda added .
Whilst the renovation works were underway Apeer has been finalising preparations for a pair of upmarket new brochures scheduled to be released in time for the upcoming show . The brochures , one each for Lumi and Apeer doors , will also be supported by the launch of two contemporary new websites , as Apeer director , Asa McGillian explains :

The Glass and Glazing Federation ( GGF ), which is holding a special 40th anniversary party at the FIT Show ’ s ‘ Big Tuesday ,’ has revealed details of its celebrations and show seminars .
The anniversary features live music , entertainment , free canapés and drinks from 4.30pm and all the FIT Show attendees are invited .
James Lee , director of marketing and communications commented : “ Our stand will reflect our 40th anniversary year with stunning graphics taken from the historic timeline we ’ ve recently installed at our London head office . Our members will also be invited to take full advantage of the hospitality in our special ‘ Life Begins at 40 ’ members lounge .”

To highlight the array of Doorbuilder features and how the programme can support the design , costing and ordering process , Apeer have made sure that handson demonstrations will be readily available for any curious visitors .
