TRICKLE VENTS
As many in the window industry are keen to point
out, trickle vents are not hardware or furniture.
They fall into their own grey area and are seemingly
not the most popular product in the market.

At The FIT Show, Glazpart
explored how this negative
perception had been arrived
at by window installers,
fabricators and system
houses - and looked at how
to address it. The company
demonstrated how and why
a solution is at hand in the
form of the innovative and
patented trickle vent, the
Link-Vent from Glazpart.
The company invited
visitors to its stand,
challenging them to work
out the importance of ‘the
difference between >2m3/
hr and <0.35 m3/hr,’ and
explaining why trickle
vents could be perceived
as draughty, cold and
‘whistling.’
Glazpart showed its range
of high quality trickle vents
in over 30 colour matched
finishes from anthracite grey
to wine red and Irish oak to
mahogany wood grain.
