Coloured replacement door sets
have been produced in the UK

CE MARKING CERTIFICATION
With the introduction of CE
marking last year; installers
who purchase their doors and
glass separately will have to go
through the CE marking process
to comply with regulations. The
Colordor door sets are a preglazed product carrying full CE
certification, thus saving time and
ensuring that the installer is fully
compliant.
The high performance coloured
foils used in the product ensure
that the sash and outer frame
colour not only match exactly, but
will not suffer from UV degradation as found with painted door
finishes.

fabricator Pyramid Windows
has designed and launched
a new product to help
installers capitalise on the
demand for traditional looking windows and doors.
‘Legacy’ is a ‘timber-look’ PVC-u
window manufactured with the
Synseal Synerjy system. It has a
mechanically-jointed outer-frame
and is coloured with Pyramid’s
exclusive Burnt Oak finish, a
shade developed in-house.

contemporary hardware, there is
an option to include a tear drop
handle in brushed aluminium.
The window may look old-fashioned, Legacy has truly cutting
edge security with Yale shootbolt
locks and a SAC bolt included.

Egress Easi-clean Mega Hinge.
This uses a ratchet and pin
system so it will not ‘pop-out’ –
meaning fewer service call-outs
for the installer.
