HA seeks contractors
Genesis Housing Association has put a call out to construction firms interested
in playing a part in its plans to deliver 10,000 homes over the next decade.
The provider, which owns or
manages 33,000 homes across
London and the East of England,
plans to create a consolidated
network of suppliers to support
its strategy to deliver around
1,000 units a year across its
geographical footprint.
Under the terms of the tender,
Genesis will establish framework
agreements with successful bidders
which will start in September 2015
and last for an initial period of four
years.

Contractors who are chosen for
the network will have the chance
to be involved in an exciting programme of works including new
build housing and conversions to
provide residential units.
Genesis held an open day during February to gauge interest and
are now asking bidders to return
pre-qualification questionnaires this
month ahead of short listing and issuing invitations to tender in April.
