NEW INSTALLER ESSENTIALS
CRL had a successful third outing to FIT show
- with its stand measuring 88 square metres
and a total of 18 displays showcasing its core
products and some notable new developments
for the glass and glazing industry.
The company’s array of
glass balustrade systems,
shower door hardware,
door hardware, architec-
tural metals and glass and
glazing tools and accesso-
ries grabbed the attention of
visitors to this year’s show.
An area of the stand was
dedicated to live demonstra-
tion of the company’s glass
detectors performed by a
specialist. CRL’s large range
of glass detectors includes
13 models from as little as
£19.46 which is a conductive
coating detector featuring a
red indicator that lights up
on contact of Low-e.
Another popular glass
detector from CRL is the
metric scale glass thickness
laser which can measure
from inside of the building
without removing the glass,
calculates thicknesses of
insulating and laminated
glass, as well as bullet-re-
sistant and single light float
glass. The ‘Glass Chek Elite’
is CRL’s most comprehen-
sive detector which includes
features and benefits such
as the easy identification of
glass, spacer and thickness
of laminate inner-layer and
up to quad pane windows.

of Low-e coating in the win-
dow as well as the surface
location.

Another installer essential
on show was CRL’s ultimate
sealant and adhesive. The MS
Polymer sealant (MSP290)
has an excellent adhesion to
most non-porous surfaces
such as glass, quartz, ceram-
ic, aluminium and plastic.
It is a high quality, durable
and flexible, adhesive sealant
based on hybrid technology
for both interior and exterior
applications. MSP290 is
available in clear, black and
white and can be painted
with most paint. The solvent
and cyanide free sealant can
also be used safely in food
preparation areas and cold
storage. It bonds to damp
surfaces and it is resistant to
mould.
CRL also introduced its
new glass product show-
case, bursting with hun-
dreds of everyday tools,
accessories and hardware

brochure includes glass
cutting and handling tools,
low price polishing pow-
