A Helping Hand
On April 21st Google
changed its algorithm
to increase search
rankings for mobile
optimised websites and
reduce the rankings
of those which aren’t.
With millions of businesses now expecting to see a dramatic
reduction in web traffic,
enquiries and sales,
it’s no surprise some
internet pundits have
dubbed this change
‘mobilegeddon.’
Considering less than
10% of all 15,000 fabricators and installers have a
mobile optimised website,
this change spelt disaster
for the window industry,
but Wellingborough based
fabricator Astraseal had
no need for concern. Prior
to April 21st they teamed
up with window industry
marketing specialists Purplex and launched a mobile
optimised website just as
the Google change came
into force.
