Celebrating
success of
a perfect
partnership
GBW has just celebrated
manufacturing its 100,000th
foiled door panel and thanks
to the use of the CoolSkin®
product from 3D Laminates,
product remakes now account
for just 0.035% of production.
The once problematic
performance of door
panels is now very
much a distant memory for companies
such as GBW and for
the last six and half
years they have been
exclusively manufacturing foiled door
panels with CoolSkin®
technology from 3D
Laminates.
The company has a
long-term agreement with
one of the country’s leading home improvement
companies for all door
panels, supplying in excess
of 1,000 panels every
month.
In the UK market, the
Colordor range has been
a big success, offering 10
colour/woodgrain finishes with a laminated
CoolSkin® exterior with
colours such as red, blue,
anthracite grey and woodgrains such as Irish Oak.
The five chambered PVCu
door frames are made with
a perfectly matching window grade PVCu foil.
Mark Cuthbert, managing
director of GBW, commented: “We have a strong
relationship with 3D Laminates. Their CoolSkin®
technology has quite simply revolutionised the door
panel market.”
