VEKA Recycling opens
new recycling centre
Industry leader VEKA Recycling has expanded its PVC collection and processing
capabilities with the opening of a new recycling centre in the Midlands.
The new VEKA Recycling Centre in
Birmingham adds a
further weighbridge,
processing and storage facilities to VEKA
Recycling’s established
business.
Post-industrial and
post-consumer PVC
window frame material is
reduced in size and sent
in 24-tonne loads to Kent
where it is processed to a
high standard of purity for
use in new goods, includ-
ing PVC-U windows and
other products.
This additional facility
reinforces VEKA Recycling’s commitment to its
UK business and maintaining its widely-recognised
reputation for high quality
products and efficient service.

appointments
for Jablite &
Styropack
The Jablite and Styropack Board
has made two new appointments to
its senior leadership teams. Jablite
and Styropack are sister companies
manufacturing products made from
expanded polystyrene for the construction and packaging sectors.
Paul Yeoman is new Group Commercial Director, responsible for Jablite and Styropack
and Colin Sampson is Head of Product Development for Jablite. Each holds a Master’s
Degree in Business Administration.
The appointment of Paul is the first time
that all four board directors have become responsible for both companies; this continues
the integration of the two businesses whilst
maintaining different brand strategies.

Jablite and Styropack is an important step
towards our long term vision for both businesses,” explains Richard Lee, MD of Jablite
