Meeting the
Requirements
Document Q came into force on
1 October 2015 and left many
hardware products non-compliant.
Tony Chadwick, Trojan’s
Group Managing Director,
talks about Trojan’s products
and how they comply. “Many
of our core products already
met the requirements of
Document Q: including the
Stallion Reverse Espag, the
Mustang Slim Line Reverse
Espag, the Mustang Slim
Line Shootbolt, the Pegasus
Window Lock, the Stallion
2 Shootbolt and the Mega
Egress Hinge.
Wear a Wig
for Money
“Trojan’s door hardware products also met the requirements of
Document Q, including the Patriot
Plus 3D High Security Door Hinge,
the 3D High Security Composite
Door Hinge, the PAS 24 Stainless
Steel Letter Plate and the TS007 2*
Stainless Steel Door Handle.
Document Q states that all windows and doors installed in new
dwe llings need to conform to PAS
24:2012.
Tony concludes: “New legislation
always has the capacity to worry
fabricators and installers. But our
core products met the requirements of the changes to the law
and have done for some time.”

Vanarama announced its fundraising total for the company’s ‘NonLeague Day 2015’ in support of Prostate Cancer UK, raising over
£10,000 for the charity, smashing 2014’s total of £7,735.
Non-League Day is an important event in the company’s sponsorship of the
Vanarama National League
and aimed to encourage
fans to watch their local
non-league club during
the annual international
break where many Premier
League and Football League
clubs’ players are on international duty and raise
monies for charity.
With the support of clubs, players and fans from the Vanarama
National League and support
from personalities such as Chris
Waddle, Tubes from Soccer AM
and comedian David Schneider,
Vanarama launched #WearTheWig, calling on the football
community to don an orange
wig for which Vanarama would
donate for every picture posted
to Twitter.
‘Supporting great causes such as Prostate
Cancer UK, along with our other charities
is important to everyone at Vanarama’
The hugely successful campaign
saw Vanarama partner with Prostate Cancer UK, supporting The
National League for a second year
running.
“Supporting great causes such
as Prostate Cancer UK, along with
our other charities is important to
everyone at Vanarama,” says Vanarama managing director, Andy
Alderson. “The support from
clubs, players and especially the
fans has been amazing this year,
once again proving that when
the football family come together,
amazing things are possible”.
James Beeby, Director of Fundraising at Prostate Cancer UK
was delighted with the amount
raised saying: “From clubs, players and fans from the grassroots
game, National League and The
Football League, to broadcast
outlets such as BT Sport, so
many people embraced the innovative #WearTheWig incentive
on Non-League Day. That helped
us raise money and awareness to
combat a disease that affects one
in eight men in the UK in their
lifetime.
