Salestracker leads to
‘great new business
ventures’ for VBH
Hardware company
VBH (GB) has chosen
Insight Data as its
main data provider.
The partnership sees
VBH gain access to the
Fenestration Database
on Salestracker.
Simon Monks, Sales Director at VBH, said: “Salestracker gives us a full scope of
data on fabricators and
installers of PVCu, aluminium and timber window and
door products.
“Many of our new
greenteQ products are
aimed towards users of
specific profiles. We need to
make users of these profiles
aware of our new developments efficiently so we can
start selling as soon as the
stock hits our shelves.
“A prime example is the
Invisifold Slide & Fold door
system which has been de-
veloped initially for Rehau
profiles, with other profile
solutions following on.
We already have our own
database but we’re realistic
enough to realise that our
data can never be as fresh
as that from a specialist
company such as Insight.
Salestracker is proving
invaluable in introducing
products such as Invisifold
to the market.”
Simon said that further
functionality of the system
allowed VBH’s external
sales team to keep a central
record of its sales prospects, ensuring that it was
conversing with the right
stakeholders in potential
customers. He added: “Our
product manager team also
uses the tool to investigate
market information on the
markets that it has specific
responsibility for.”
He said Salestracker had
yielded some ‘great new
business ventures’ for VBH
and its mobile function
allowed the sales team to
retrieve data while away
from the office.

over 700 users.
