FURTHER GROWTH IN 2019
Virtuoso Doors has laid
the foundations for a strong
2019 with the announce-
ment that it is on target to
achieve year on year growth
of over 50%, making 2018
the best year ever in the
firm’s 37-year history.
Virtuoso Doors’ record
streak has seen production
rates accelerate during the
last 12 months – all cul-
minating in the company
turning in a record-breaking
month in October where
sales were more than dou-
ble those of October 2017.
Virtuoso Doors introduced
a string of developments
throughout 2018 to help
installers win business
and achieve growth. The
firm kicked-off with a bold
rebrand and the launch of
a comprehensive marketing
support programme to give
customers all the tools they
need to promote themselves.
The cornerstone of Virtu-
oso Doors growth however
is new product development
and the firm has credited
much of its recent success

A £4.6 million project by Liv-
erpool Mutual Homes (LMH) deliv-
ered family homes for affordable
rent on a neglected brownfield
site and featured Optima Windows
from Profile 22 as part of a series
of measures to maximise energy
efficiency.
Leighton Dene in Fazakerley,
Liverpool, was once the site of a
run-down nursing home and had
lain vacant for a number of years.
Liverpool City Council released
the site to the Liverpool Housing
Partnership, an innovative hous-
ing consortium model that sees
receipts from land sales to Redrow
Homes ring-fenced and reinvested
into affordable housing. The hous-
ing scheme in this case comprised
17 two-bedroom and 5 three-bed-
room houses, as well as 9 one-bed
and 3 two-bed apartments. It was
designed by architects Bowker
Sadler and delivered in partner-
ship with main contractor Willmott
Dixon.
