Eurocell sets to improve
image of the window
and door installer
market with launch
of approval scheme
Eurocell, the UK’s leading manufacturer,
distributor and recycler of PVC-U
windows and doors, has launched
the Eurocell Select approved installer
scheme which aims to develop a trusted
network of installers across the UK.

celebrates second Win Your Windows
Back competition winner
A couple from Bognor Regis
have become the second winners
of the Win Your Windows Back
competition from Saint-Gobain
Building Glass, winning over
£6,000 to cover the cost of their
new Planitherm windows.
After spending £6256.20 re-
placing all the upstairs windows
of their home, as well as glass
in their front and back doors,
with Planitherm Energy Standard
glass, the couple were encour-
aged to enter by local Planitherm
installation company, Wayne
Windows.
Saint-Gobain Building Glass is
currently running its Win Your
Windows Back competition
quarterly, where entrants have
the chance to win up to £10,000
towards the cost of new high-per-
formance windows, to mark the
launch of its revitalised Planitherm
Network.
The first winner of the competi-
tion, Karen Bulmer from East Sus-
sex, was so impressed with her new
Planitherm windows that, after win-
ning back the total cost of £3894,
she has since chosen Planitherm
installers from Heathfield Windows
to fit a new front door, while her
parents and their neighbours are
also having new fascias and soffits
installed through the business.

which is backed by CERTASS
and FENSA - will allow installers
of Eurocell windows and doors
to gain certification following a
training course and aims to help
tradespeople overcome what is
often deemed a ‘cowboy image’
within the industry and provide
customers with peace of mind
when selecting an installer.
Free training will be held at var-
ious locations across the UK and
will include both practical instal-
lation auditing to industry quality
standards and classroom sessions,
covering health and safety, use of
PPE, and window and door instal-
lation/uninstallation.
Eurocell will also provide free
product and installation training
for all products covered within the
scheme, plus top tips to overcome
common issues. Once trained and
certified, installers will qualify for
lead referrals, marketing support,
Alternative Dispute Resolution
(ADR) service and additional
advice.
Eurocell is looking to recruit
350 domestic trade installers and
60 specification installers - who
will all receive free TrustMark
accreditation - onto the scheme.

side is celebrating the end of what has
been a fantastic 12 months. Highlights

2018 has included its revenue going up
by 45%; which is no doubt due to sales
targets broken every month throughout
the year, launching a full new range

partnering with some of the UK’s lead-
ing manufacturers, and the introduc-
tion of new internal processes to meet
