As the official UK Police flagship initiative supporting the principles of ‘designing out crime’, Secured by Design (SBD) operates a membership scheme for companies and products which meet its high and exacting standards. Having successfully tested its products against the requirements of SBD, Spectus Window Systems is now a Secured by Design Member Company, and as such has been awarded usage and display rights for its logo and ‘Police Preferred Specification’ title. “In attaining Secured by Design membership we have strengthened our support package for our existing customers,” comments Phil Duncombe, Product Manager for Spectus Window Systems. “While a number are already SBD approved fabricators of Spectus Window Systems products there are some that are yet to reap the rewards of this exclusive commercial opportunity.
