45 PRO INSTALLER AUGUST 2014 PRO PRODUCTS @proinstaller1 WINDOW WARE LAUNCHES NEW PRODUCT CATALOGUE Window Ware, the one-stop shop for door and window hardware, tools, fixings, and consumables -has released its 2014 trade catalogue. This follows the news that the company has just signed up to exhibit at the Buildshow, the brand new show dedicated to the building and construction industry set to take place at the NEC in April 2015. The new 156 page catalogue is available in traditional print form, as well as a digital download from the website, and focuses on providing product solutions for door and window repairs, installations, self-build projects, and refurbishments. New products being introduced in the catalogue include the uPVC repair gaasket (a handy seal that replaces all known uPVC profiles), and a wider range of uPVC replacement multipoint locks and gearboxes, meaning Window Ware can now supply a replacement lock for almost all door lock repairs. MD Rachel Attwood said: “The new catalogue was produced because of the increasing number of customers who needed immediate help when out on jobs, and it would help build on the strengths that have made Window Ware a major player in the industry for the last 25 years. “We have a well-deserved reputation for excellent service - just look at our reviews on Trustpilot. co.uk - and with over 5,000 items in stock, an in-house technical helpline for best advice, we provide a product offer that is ever-evolving to suit today’s market,” she said. “We are excited to launch our new catalogue; it is the perfect size to keep on the van or on your desk, and is packed full of products every builder, contractor, double glazing repairer, window installer or handyman will need. We thought long and hard about the design of the catalogue so that products could be easily located and ordered, and we’ve had some excellent feedback from customers already,” she added. This launch continues the company’s development programme that has already seen a redeveloped Trade Counter, the launch of a wide range of architectural ironmongery from leading brand Carlisle Brass, and the launch of a new logo and brand identity. Window Ware has been supplying window fabricators, installers, locksmiths, builders and repair companies for more than25 years with the latest branded hardware (including Maco, Yale, Rapier Star, Fischer, Hoppe and Trojan) as well as a growing range of own-brand KORE products. Its lack of abrasive properties means it will clean most of the conservatory and items of garden furniture, and, following carefully the full safety instructions I used it diluted at 75-1 (the middle one) for both my conservatory and garden furniture with positive results, as promised by the manufacturers. Having made the recommended preparations, I applied the solution as instructed using the brush and wiped the treated surface with a clean, damp cloth - and the results were impressive. A good product, more than fit for purpose. I must point out that it is a chemical and must, therefore, be treated with respect. Follow the instructions. They are clear and concise about product preparation, use and safety, such as avoiding contact details (eyes, skin) and keeping out of the reach of children. I also recommend storing the product in an upright position. Reviewed by Danny Basden.
