EMIRATES LITERATURE FESTIVAL
Thirteen Pristinians from Years 9 and 10 attended the author’s session on 5th March 2019. The session was hosted by the famous history professor-author Mr. Peter Frankopan. The event was a great exposure to our students who were keen to extend their learning and be exposed to the outside world events that would help them extend 21st Century skills.
It was informative and insightful as it ignited the critical thinking spirit in students to explore more about the history and develop an unbiased attitude to historical events and characters that appear in the famous historical events.
Their discourse with the author -historian was motivational and educational. As a souvenir, students picked up his recently published successful book NEW SILK ROADS, that discusses at length about the present and future of history.
