Pristine’s READATHON

Reading maketh a man.” Thus goes the famous saying which enlightens the world with the importance of reading in an individual’s life leading to character development besides building literacy skills to meet the challenges of outside world.

PPS READATHON 2019 was held in the early hours of 10th February with students outside their classroom enjoying the luxury of reading in the open air. It was an engaging way to encourage children to read for pleasure. Pupils were permitted to read whatever they liked per page, per book - from comics to classics and books to blogs. Readathon aims to provide an enriching opportunity for students to stimulate and fill their minds with imaginative ideas while extending their knowledge and understanding of the world of letters and the real world around them.

As quoted by one of the students, “Storytellers are enchanters with amazing skills to transport us to the world of imagination and fantasy.”
