ENBD Poetry Recitation Competition
As part of the Emirates Literature Festival, students from Year 9 participated in the Emirates NBD Poetry Competition on 4th February 2019. Students selected poems of their choice from classical literature and prepared according to the criteria of success defined for the competition. They also prepared justifications for their choice and narrated with confidence their perception and analysis of how the verses connect to them. The day of the competition saw their participation at another school with eloquence and enthusiasm which resulted in a very enjoyable learning experience as students benefited from listening to poetry elocution by other school teams as well.
