Design Thinking Workshop DIDI- LIVING ON MARS WORKSHOP
The workshop was held on 19th January 2019 at the Dubai Institute for Design and Innovation at the Design District. Fifteen Post 16 students participated in this workshop and got chance to develop novel concepts of habitation on the Red Planet, envisioning and creating sustainable settlement proposals which would in future enable humans to survive and create new civilizations in space. The goal was to research and analyse possible scenarios, and integrate sciences, architecture, art and many other disciplines to tackle the concept of an off-world colony on the Red Planet. This was conducted by the Founding Assistant Professor, Dr. Raffi Tchakerian.
