The student leaders initiated a Sustainability Picnic that relates to the wellbeing of the student as it suits the cool weather. Years 3 to 8 students packed a healthy picnic basket and went to Mamzar Park on 7th February 2019 accompanied by the staff members to enjoy nature in an exciting and responsible way taking care of their health and the environment. Students were encouraged to pack greener and leaner class baskets to be able to receive the maximum house points. The student leaders started the day with a fitness exercise to pass the positive spirit to all the students. The teachers also prepared different interactive and engaging team building activities to highlight the positive peer relationship. Before leaving the park, everyone demonstrated active citizenship through clean up drive.
All in all, it was a fun activity thoroughly enjoyed by all.
