Rainforest Exploration

As part of their learning on the topic of rainforest, students of FS-2 visited The Green Planet, which realistically mimics the rainforest environment. The Rainforest Relationships programme gave them the opportunity to explore complex relationships in a rainforest community and learn about how working together is key to survival, while also getting to know the indigenous plants and animals. The highly interactive session helped students to ask their questions and deepen understanding of the tropical rainforest habitat. It also provided them insight about how essential the rainforests are for the overall health of our planet as they play an extremely important role in nature and for human needs.
