The identity of Cinema, as of mankind, is diverse, complex and fascinating. Therefore, it is necessary to acknowledge and celebrate this diversity, without neglecting neither film nor the identity, regarding the peripheral voices. FILMES DO HOMEM - Melgaço International Documentary Film Festival, presents itself as a privileged space to bring diversity together, while reveals adaptation problems caused by human displacement. It is a space of meeting, 26 sharing and questioning. We seek for representations of this particular world, resulting from creative processes in the image and sound fields, where various memories and identities are put into dialogue.
