Back in 2014 Uzbekistan became
the first Central Asian country to
agree a Decent Work Country
Programme with the ILO.
The Acting President of Uzbekistan
Mr Shavkat Mirizyoyev as a Prime
Minster
had
adopted
the
Governmental
Decree
on
16
November 2015 endorsing the Action
Plan to improve labor conditions,
employment and social protection of
workers in the agricultural sector
during 2016-2018 which is aimed at
implementing Decent Work Country
Programme.
