Government and policymaking transparency reforms • A virtual cabinet of the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan has been launched. The virtual cabinet will receive appeals and complaints, as well as proposals of individuals and legal entities. It is accessible at pm.gov.uz. The website users can submit their appeals, complaints and proposals via special form or by calling free number (0 800) 2100000 or short number 1000. The number of appeals have already exceeded 20 000. Uzbekistan-EU cooperation in democracy and human rights •Human rights and the rule of law hold pride of place in UzbekistanEU cooperation. •This cooperation is dynamic and constructive, as shown at the meetings of the Subcommittee on Justice, Home Affairs and Human Rights. •Uzbekistan was the first country in Central Asia to begin a human rights dialogue with the EU. The next round of the dialogue is expected to be held in Brussels on 8 November 2016.
