The skin care professional is requested to evaluate a wide variety of cutaneous conditions on a daily
basis. In this workshop, we will aim to show the pathogenesis of the associated skin conditions along
with clinicopathologic correlation. The workshop will also introduce the procedure of Collagen Induction
therapy (CIT)/microneedling via live demonstration. Dr. Ayyaz Shah will share personal experience regarding
CIT and will also discuss differences in manual vs. electric. The skin care professional will have a good
understanding of the appropriate indications for using CIT and with a little practice could implement this
procedure into their therapeutic armamentarium without much difficulty.
