This hands-on workshop will cover indications, precautions and contra-
indications, a step by step peel application process, as well as choice of
surgical blade for dermaplaning. You will receive a take home kit which
includes a handle, 20 scalpel blades (#10 and #14), blade remover, a
handbook as well as client forms. A consent, release and waiver of liability
will have to be signed before beginning. Attendees will work on their legs
and knees for the purpose of the training. Advance hands-on workshop. The
certificate of attendance will be emailed to the attendees.

In this class, the master of body painting and special FX makeup, Nix Herrera,
will demonstrate: materials, tools and makeup used in the special FX makeup
industry, basic and intermediate application of special FX makeup, application
of prosthetics. Nix will also cover how to look for and land special effects
makeup jobs in haunted houses, theaters or TV.
For the past 20 years Nix has been working as a FX makeup artist with the
industry’s top companies and premier events. From the United States to Asia,
Nix has worked with Universal Studios Orlando on events such as Halloween
Horror Nights and Grinchmas and with Oceans Park Hong Kong’s Halloween
Fest. Presented by EBA Performance Makeup and Iwata Airbrush, Nix loves to
share his knowledge and passion with other artist in the industry.
