Plant-Based Eating:

I attempt to eat as my grandmother always said to me growing up, “If it comes from Mother Earth, it will provide for you.” So, how do you simply incorporate more plant-based eating?

1. Meet yourself where you are at. Whatever you are cooking, try adding in a small amount of greens – chard, spinach and bok choy tend to be the mildest of the greens.

2. Make swaps that will not cause any more stress or anxiety. Swaps or ‘lateral shifts’ are a great way to move forward with fueling-up your eating patterns.

3. Be patient with yourself and your taste buds. First step here would be to remove the salt from the table.
