Alabama A&M offers free room and board to all ROTC
Scholarship Cadets who maintain a 3.0 GPA and above. All
school fees paid. If approved, out-of-state tuition is waived and
students will pay in-state tuition. There are monthly allowances
based on academic year ranging from $300 to $500. Students can
apply for scholarships any and every semester, and financial aid
is offered to those who are non-scholarship students.

Alabama State University offers scholarships based on the

Auburn University offers Army, Air Force, and Navy ROTC.
Each of these different programs has different offers. Army
ROTC scholarships also provide living allowances for each
school year. The allowance is also available to those who are
non-scholarship cadets. Some of the scholarships consist of
full-tuition, the option of room and board in place of tuition,
and additional allowances for books and fees. The Air Force
ROTC scholarships include a $600 annual book allowance as
well as a monthly stipend based on class year. Navy ROTC offers
uniforms, naval science books, full tuition and reasonable fees,
$375 per semester for books, monthly stipends depending on
class, and calculus and physics tutors.

Jacksonville State University annually offers five compet-
itive room-only scholarships to students who enter as fresh-
men or transfer students. There are also two dedicated nursing
scholarships available on a competitive basis. The scholarship
pays for five semesters of tuition plus free room in a dormitory

Marion Military Institute has an opportunity to become
an Army Officer in just two years. The two-year junior college/
guaranteed reserve Force Duty Scholarship winners receive total
cost of tuition and fees for their freshman and sophomore years.
In order to qualify, the student must have a 2.5 GPA and have a
minimum of a 19 on the ACT or 1000 on the SAT.

Troy University Army ROTC provides up to five free dorm
rooms for four, three, and two-year scholarship winners. The
students must maintain a cumulative of 2.5 GPA and be an ROTC
cadet in good standing. The Air Force ROTC scholarships cover
your tuition and most lab fees. There is also an annual textbook
allowance and up to $500 monthly stipend. Contact the recruiter

Tuskegee University the Army ROTC program offers free
room and board, academic credit for all ROTC classes in several
degree areas, all mandatory student fees paid, monthly allowanc-
es ranging $300-$500, flexibility to play sports and be enrolled in
ROTC, and ROTC physical training satisfies the physical educa-
tion requirement. For more information on the Air Force ROTC

ROTC program pays full room and board in select dormitories
for all NROTC scholarship recipients. Successful completion of
the NROTC program leads to a commission as an Ensign, U.S.

24 or higher. The university also provides five book scholarships
