his story
Trent is involved in just about every aspect of student life there
is to be involved in at Prattville Christian Academy. He shares,
“I really enjoy being involved with my school, sports, and the
community. It is great being able to experience other people
that I normally wouldn’t encounter.” Trent currently plays foot-
ball and soccer at PCA, and previously played tennis, where
he won the Rookie of the Year award. As an active member of
several sports teams, he’s also a member of the Fellowship of
Christian Athletes. He participates in both the National Honor
Society and Spanish Honor Society, and serves as the Event
Liaison for PCA’s Student Government Association. Trent
shares, “My grandfather once told me there are three kinds of
people in this world: people who make it happen, people who
watch what happens, and people who wonder what happened.
I plan on being someone who will make it happen.”
what’s next
“I’m looking at two possibilities: becoming a chemical or civil
engineer, or becoming a pilot. My school has an engineering
course that I’ve been taking since my freshman year. It has
given me a taste of different engineering careers I can pursue.”

“I am proud of the fact that our family is so close, always
putting each other first no matter what is happening in our
lives.” He adds, “My dad has provided me with a lot of
inspiration. He has taught me to be humble by doing
everything he can to help others. He is always calm no matter
the situation, and always gives people a fair chance.”
parents’ perspective
Chuck and Terra share, “We admire Trent’s desire to put God first.
He displays great compassion, kindness, and willingness to put
others before himself. He is very loyal to others.”
parent-to-parent
“First, love your children with all your heart. Second,
teach them core values and how to make decisions on
their own using those values. Be their living example.
Next, be an engaged parent. Children need you to be the
parent, not necessarily a friend.”
