“My dad once told me that whatever I do, if I do it with all my
effort and do it all for the glory of God, everything will work itself
out,” Ty said.
how it began
At Saint James School, senior Ty Deemer has been recognized as
a leader in the classroom, on the field and in the community. He
was named Team Captain of the Varsity Baseball Team—“a high
honor—I was truly proud to lead a team full of great guys in a
sport that I love.” He was also selected to participate in the American Legion Boys State Conference, where he was elected Senate
Pro Temperate, an experience he credits for helping him figure
out his future career plans. He’s actively involved with his church
and community, regularly participating in mission trips and local
outreach projects. He also draws inspiration from a core group of
guys he meets with weekly for Bible study and fellowship. “We’ve
been meeting for almost 2 ½ years now and they are constantly
showing me how to be a more loving and happier person,” Ty
said. “They are the best friends I could ever ask for.”
what’s next
After graduation, Ty is interested in pursuing a career in law or
public administration. “Anything that has to do with working
with people or public service in general is appealing to me.”

“My dad continually shows me how to be a hardworking,
God-loving and accountable young man,” Ty said. “I’d be happy to
be half the man my dad is when I have kids.”
