age and older
• Recommended for 2 months to
5 years and 65 years and older
• Available types include: nasal
mist, high-dose, under the skin,
egg-free, or 3-4 strains
• Two vaccines protect against
13 and 23 strains of pneumonia
• Vaccine can be given from
September - March each year
• Risk groups and all adults
65 years should receive
both vaccines
