Her leadership skills are strong and evident- she is the president of PCA’s National Honor Society, and was chosen to be a part of the Ala- bama Lions High School Leadership Forum. Outside of school, she is an active member of Centerpoint Fellowship Church. When asked to share the best advice she had ever received, Melanie answered with a quote from Priscilla Shirer: “Live for the applause of heaven, not others.” what’s next “I want to go into nursing and become a travelling nurse at first, and then a nurse anesthetist.” She explains, "My interest in nursing sparked when I was in kindergarten and was hospital- ized for a week for asthma problems and a virus; during that time frame, I was interested in the roles the nurses had.” melanie drey PG (parental guidance) rating Millbrook, AL Melanie shares, “I am most proud of my family because we al- ways know who we are. They have taught me to always put God first, and then others.
