The Key Club from Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School enjoyed a beautiful Sunday afternoon in November by walking dogs at the Montgomery Humane Shelter . It was definitely a great way to relieve stress and get exercise . The eight members of Key Club walked four dogs on several different trails behind the Shelter at 1150 John Overton Dr . The dogs had a great time smelling the air and the bushes and finding sticks ! The Key Club members each found a dog they fell in love with . Pictured are Kathleen Madden and Carrie Belsterling . Other members who walked dogs were Anna Nutting , Daphne Hardy , Lainie Doyle , Lucy Waite , Sarah Beth Littrell , and Katelyn Stark .
The Humane Shelter is currently seeking small groups of students or adults who can volunteer to walk dogs during the week or on the weekend . To volunteer , please call or email Cindy Chapman at 409- 0622 or cindychapman @ montgomeryhumane . com .
